भारतीय विश्वकप टिममा रहे पनि हालसम्म अन्तिम-११ मा स्थान बनाउन असफल रहेका देब्रे हाते स्पिनर रभिन्द्र जडेजा आज गरेको एक ‘ट्वीट’ का कारण चर्चामा रहेका छन्।
भारत विश्वकपको सेमीफाइनल प्रवेश गरिसके पनि जडेजा टिमको पहिलो रोजाइमा परेका छैनन्। यस क्रममा भारतले इग्ल्यांडसंगको खेलमा हार बेहोरेपछि भारतको ब्याटिंग प्रशिक्षक संजय बांगरले पत्रकारहरुसंगको कुराकानीमा जडेजालाई टिममा मौका दिने बारे टिमले विचार गर्ने बताएका थिए।
बांगरको प्रतिक्रिया पछि विश्वकपमा कमेन्टेटरको भूमिकामा रहेका तथा पुर्व भारतीय राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेटर संजय मन्ज्रेकरले एक कुराकानीको क्रममा बोल्दै जडेजालाई अन्तिम-११ मा राख्न कुनै जरुरी नभएको र उनि पूर्ण क्रिकेटर नभएको बताए।
“हामीलाई यस्तो खेलाडीको कुनै जरुरि छैन जो थोरै ब्याटिंग गर्न सक्छ र थोरै बलिंग पनि गर्न सक्छ। म पूर्ण खेलाडीलाई मात्रै अन्तिम-११ मा देख्न चाहन्छु, त्यसो खेलाडीहरुलाई हैन जसले किस्तामा प्रदर्शन गर्छन्”
मन्ज्रेकरको उक्त बयान पछि जडेजाले आफुलाई सम्हाल्न सकेनन् र ट्वीटर मार्फत मन्ज्रेकरको विश्लेषणलाई कडा जवाफ फर्काए।
