The International Cricket Council (ICC) have given Hong Kong cricket the hosting rights of ICC 2016 Women’s World Cup Qualifier – Asia, which is announced to schedule on October this year.
Nepal, China and Thailand will join the host Hong Kong cricket in a round robin format, in the tournament which will take place from October 9th to 15th at the Tin Kwong Recreation Ground in Mong Kok, where the top most team will guarantee the spot in the global qualifying tournament.
Nepal women cricket team last played major tournament at 17th Asian Games Incheon, South Korea against Bangladesh in the 4th Quarter final , where Bangladesh won the match by 81 runs.
