Australia ex captain and legendary cricketer Michael Clarke has replied to a tweet from a Nepali fan towards him, on Sandeep Lamichhane, saying that he is not surprised with Sandeep’s performance. He further added that Sandeep was a little superstar.
Nepal U-19 skipper Sandeep Lamichhane bowled a magical spell against host Singapore in Nepal U-19’s first match of ICC Asia U-19s World Cup qualifier, taking 5 for 21 in just 8 overs.Sandeep’s spell dismantled Singapore’s batting line up, eventually bowling them out for mere 73.

Sandeep was invited to Australia by Clarke last November, to train in Michael Clarke’s academy, where he also played few matches. Clarke and Lamichhane played together as well, as teammates, in Hong Kong T20 Blitz tournament last May.
During his stay in Australia, Sandeep and his mentor Clarke did live interaction sessions with fans back home, answering to queries from fans and cricket enthusiasts.
